ETHICS AND MONEY

with Alisdair Smith, Deacon and Business Chaplain at Christ Church Cathedral

ETHICS FOR BREAKFAST

Wed, Apr 8, 2015 7:15 AM - 8:30 AM PDT

Money is a medium of exchange, but we make the mistake of assuming it is a measure of power and authority. Why do we do that?

Are ethics and money so disconnected in our place and time that it is laughable to even think about a link? Or is there, in the midst of "it's just business" and "greed is good" a place for a moral discourse about money and wealth?

Do businesses have a moral responsibility to be fully engaged in their communities and not simply money-making machines?

Join Alisdair Smith as he leads a dynamic and provocative dialogue about money and society.
