Workplace Centre for Spiritual and Ethical Development

Founded in 1990, Workplace Centre has a rich history. The Centre began as a place for like-minded people to connect over conversation. The founder, Harlene Walker, created a spiritual oasis in the midst of the downtown business community. The conversations grew to include business ethics as a practical way to bring deeper values into our work and relationships.

The Workplace Centre continued to offer lively and enriching conversations through to 2023. As the professional landscape evolved, members found new ways to engage with spirituality and ethics in business. With these conversations becoming more widespread, the Board recognized that the Centre had successfully fulfilled its mission.
